I was at the welding store a few weeks ago and saw a nice oxy-fuel torch cart.
"How much?"
"$600"
"Excuse me? It sounded like you said $600"
"Yeah, they're kinda stupid expensive. You're a welder, make one"
"Oh yeah..."
So tonight, a $35 hand truck off craigslist and about $30 worth of way overpriced steel and I've got an excellent start on an oxy-fuel torch cart.
w00t!

My welding teacher told me that if I put a "welding done here" sign in front of my house, the cart would pay for itself in no time.
I still have yet to test this theory.

I bought a Lincoln Mig and my net cost after 2 jobs was $165.

Not too shabby.

Those 2 jobs were also the reason I bought it. Wanted a quality welder and I am very happy with it.
